When life hands you Claro Walnut Burl, you need to design a new kit!
Claro Walnut is arguably the most highly prized subspecies of walnut and the burls on these trees are just amazing to work with! Each handle is made with Claro Walnut Burl and stuck on blades made from some good ol' Appalachian Walnut from my neck o' the woods with a central band of Sugar Maple.
Each kit is made with handles of Padauk and Curly Maple fitted on Curly Maple blades.
Each kit is hand crafted, hand sanded up to a fine finish, and coated with a blend of beeswax and orange oil to protect and bring out the NATURAL beauty of the wood.
