Being mindful of the end grain of a piece of wood can open up so many amazing opportunities for design! Osage orange offers a range of possibilities with its high contrasting growth rings, so I thought some diamond patterns were in order for the handles and would go perfectly with Curly or Birdseye Maple blades separated by a band of African Blackwood.
Each piece is hand crafted, hand sanded up to a fine finish, and coated with a blend of beeswax and orange oil to bring out the NATURAL beauty of the wood.
